Makeup Pictorial from Sammie The Artist
You always want to start your makeup off with a good base. We cannot stress enough how important it is to have healthy skin and to take very good care of it. There is nothing worse than caking makeup onto of bumps and dry patches.
So now that you have that part down let’s prep the skin. You want to make sure you have a good primer to start with. Here, Sammie used Milk Of Magnesia for long wear without sweating.
She then proceeded to use Makeup Forever’s Ultra HD foundation and applied it with a damp beauty blender sponge. Following that, she used Nars Radiant Creamy concealer in Vanilla to highlight under her eyes, down the bridge of her nose, forehead, upper lip and chin. She then blended to perfection with her damp beauty blender sponge once again to ensure that there wouldn’t be any harsh lines. She then set her highlighted areas with Ben Nye Translucent setting powder.
Moving on, she contoured her cheeks, forehead and nose NYX contour palette using the lighted colored contour powders. Highlighting the high points of her cheeks with MAC’s Oh Darling.
She then proceeds to fill in her brows with MAC Paint pot in light brown using a angled brush and a spooly to blend. She uses a different angled brush to highlight and perfect her brow bone.
She goes on to prime her lids with MAC’s Paint Pot in Painterly. Blending in her eyeshadows and transition colors with several different Makeup Geek eyeshadows. She lined her top and bottom lids with a gel liner by Maybelline. Blending out the bottom line with makeup geek eyeshadow colors. Popping on some wispie false lashes from Salon Perfect, mascara and curling them with an eyelash curler.
